I’ve just recently been told that Sano’s red haramaki (band) is actually sign of the merchant))) It seems so strange how often he jokes in the manga that he sold good fight but for Japanese reader it’s obvious that he’s merchant because of this band. Amazing! And I’m really slow…

Latest Rurouni Kenshin Artbook - New Illustrations?
The 6th issue of manga magazine Jump SQ featured short artbook - collection of color illustrations - scans of which were recently found: (link).
Some illustrations from it were used for covers of Kanzenban edition of the manga:
But others looked very much like completely new, in new Watsuki’s art-style that he uses for the new manga Rurounim Kenshin: Cinema Edition:
The truth is these illustrations look like that because they were made for Rurouni Kenshin Saisen - PSP game which hit the streets in 2011:
All characters from this cover could be found in this short artbook. So, sadly, there are no Cinema-Edition-style illustrations in this artbook at all.
