Two Obvious Revelations
Alice thought that believing in several impossible things every day can make you a better person. I think that accepting some obvious facts each day could be even more of use.
For example, I’m still in LOTR a bit so this phrase about Sam from wiki made me immensely sad:
“As the last of the Ring-bearers, he was entitled to sail across the Sea and be reunited with Frodo in the Undying Lands.”
Why it has to be so sad? Maybe there is a logic in ending a story when main characters die but I don’t like it. So sad.
And new Korra-themed game on nick.com have stated that Aang died when he was just 66! It’s awfull! That’s what happens when story isn’t allowed to end in its proper time - characters that were alive in our hearts become dead. Isn’t it awfull?
But however awfull all this business might be these two deathes are rather obvious facts that should be accepted. And accepting truth could only make you a better person, right?
